Transparent pricing and payment options for counseling services.
I do not accept insurance directly. I am an out-of-network provider, which means you pay the full session fee at the time of your appointment. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits for mental health services.
If you'd like to seek reimbursement, I'm happy to provide a superbill — a detailed receipt that includes the information your insurance company needs to process a claim. You submit this to your insurer, and they reimburse you directly according to your plan's out-of-network mental health benefits.
I recommend calling your insurance company before our first session to ask:
Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept all major credit and debit cards, which can be processed securely through the Client Portal.
I believe cost should not be a barrier to quality care. I offer a limited number of sliding-scale slots at a reduced rate for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please reach out through the contact page to inquire about availability.
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee. This allows me to offer the time slot to another client who may be waiting.
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost. If you would like a Good Faith Estimate before beginning services, please let me know.
